Usage
Widely used in continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD) solutions and renal dialysis solutions for patients with kidney diseases.
Sodium lactate serves as an electrolyte and dialysate in intravenous injections, as well as an enteric disinfectant, gargle, and bladder irrigant, etc.
Sodium lactate is also extensively used in the preparation of Ringer’s solution, which is formulated into injections for the treatment of metabolic acidosis.
