Chemical properties NEP is a colorless transparent liquid with high polarity, high chemical stability, and high thermal stability. Its boiling point is 82-83 (-101.3 Kpa), refractive index is 1.4665, density is 0.994. It has high solubility, low vapor pressure, and low dielectric constant. It can be used as a highly efficient selective solvent, catalyst, and cationic surfactant in industry.
Usage
Solvents: Dissolves various polymers, resins, oils, and organic compounds.
- Coatings and Inks: Highly effective solvents used in the formulation and dilution of high-performance coatings, paints, and printing inks.
- Paint Strippers: Components of environmentally friendly paint strippers and cleaners for removing stubborn coatings and stains.
Electronics:
- Used in photoresist strippers and printed circuit board (PCB) cleaning agents to remove residues.
