Applications

2-(Perfluorohexyl)ethyl methacrylate is an important raw material for the production of surface protectants, widely used in textiles, coatings, and fluorinated surfactants. Specific applications include: fabric finishing agents, antifouling agents, emulsion coatings, photoresistive coatings, solvent-based thermoplastic coatings, and thermoresistive coatings.

Because it does not contain FPOA/FPOS, it has higher biocompatibility and is more environmentally friendly.
