Usage
Heterocycle Synthesis: The active methylene group and ester group in its molecule can react with hydrazine, urea, amines and other reagents to efficiently synthesize heterocyclic skeletons such as pyrazoles, pyrimidines and coumarins. These heterocycles are key structures for constructing bioactive molecules.
Polymer and Material Modification: The contained allyl group can participate in radical polymerization and crosslinking reactions. It can be used as a comonomer to prepare coatings, adhesives, photosensitive resins, etc., improving the flexibility, adhesion and weather resistance of materials.
Pharmaceutical and Pesticide Intermediates: Through structural modification (such as hydrolysis, condensation, substitution reactions), it can synthesize precursors of antibacterial agents, herbicides, anti-inflammatory drugs, etc. It is an important raw material for the synthesis of bioactive molecules in fine chemicals.
Other Organic Synthesis Applications: It can serve as an acceptor in Michael addition reactions, or be used in acylation reactions to introduce acetoacetate groups. It can also be applied in the synthesis of flavors, fragrances and dyes.
